Earthquake disaster in Haiti
The devastation has killed many, in Haiti a country that is still recovering a dangerous hurricane in 2008.
A few days ago there was a disaster in Haiti, a 7.0 quake hit. The death toll is still rising and people fear it will get up to 100,000. This photo is of a girl probably covered in a building. This is a part of the disaster. Other countries are taking part in helping the residents in Haiti.
This is another photo of the port-au-prince presidential palace. Which has been standing for a long time. When recently it has been crushed by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake in Haiti. Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere.

You bring up the fact that Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere. This makes it almost impossible for them to do anything for themselves. Aid is on the way, but when will it arrive and how much of it is there?
